Help Us Protect the Desert Refuge, Permanently!
The Desert National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1936 to protect the habitat of bighorn sheep. The Desert Refuge is currently facing a military expansion that could close a significant portion of the refuge for public access. We must designate the proposed wilderness acreage of the Desert Refuge as Wilderness to protect the cultural and natural heritage of the refuge.
